Structure of Project

The project is structured in four phases:

1. Current State Analysis
   Analysis of existing curricula at the Egyptian and European Universities.
   
   
   
2. Development of a curriculum framework concept
   
   Based on the analysis of the current state the main issues for the new curriculum will be defined.
   
   
3. Development of an updated curriculum including teaching material
   
   The new curriculum and the teaching material will be worked out. The European project partners come forward with proposals which will be adapted to the special needs of Egyptian Universities. Furthermore   teachers and postgraduated students will be trained in IT-solutions like CAD, CAE, GIS, project management, pavement design and pavement management systems)
   
   
4. Realisation of the new curriculum
   
   At both Egyptian Universities, Ain Shams University, Cairo and Minia University, the new curriculum will be realised.
