Conference Berlin, Germany (08/2008, Act.2.4)

In August 2008, after two weeks workshop in different software applications all project members met in Berlin to discuss the outcomes of the last activities. The meeting took place in the Federal Ministry for Transport, Building and Urban Affairs (BMVBS). Main issues for that meeting were the current project status in terms of the IT-labs at ASU and MU as well as the discussion and approval of the updated curricula as the basis to start the realization process.
In both Egyptian Partner Universities the IT-Labs are now equipped with hardware and almost all software applications as well as network connection, tables and chairs. So, it is looking very good to start with the updated lessons in the coming academic year by keeping the project timetable. Nevertheless, there are a few lesson contents to prepare especially in traffic planning exercises until the end of October 2008.
At the end of the meeting day we got the chance to visit the Egyptian Embassy in Berlin.
With the end of this meeting we did the next step to reach our project goals in a very successful way resulting by a good teamwork of every project member.
